The importance of individual expression through fashion?

Your style introduces you before anything. I adore people that choose to express themselves with the way they dress. The way you dress and carry yourself can take you places and put you in rooms you never thought of. 

Overcoming obstacles in starting up and running your business 

Starting a business is not for the weak. You have to prepare for the people closest to you, not your support and honestly, you can’t question it. Just believe in your vision and prepare for hard work. The first time I saw someone post something they purchased from me I cried. Not due to sadness, but because pure happiness of damn that’s really ME! Also, be your biggest critic, but also enjoying every accomplishment.

Involving your child in your business aspirations.

My daughter is my biggest inspiration. After she was diagnosed with leukemia last year and seeing her persevere through everything, I realized I can literally do anything in life I want to. She’s also my #1 fan, as I am hers. 

Legacy and what it means to you. 

Having a legacy is so important to me. I love hearing stories of things my great grand and grandparents did to make their future family members’ lives easier. How they really set up the next generation to succeed and that’s what I want to for my children. 

What do you want your legacy to be

I want my legacy to be of triumph and perseverance. When I’m gone I want people to remember me as a woman who went after everything she wanted and a great mother.
